Dear Mr.Ashok Dalwai,

I am writing regarding the Aadhaar card/number of my domestic help, Smt.Chikka Thayamma. She enrolled into the scheme on 10.08.2011 at Mysore, and holds Acknowledge Slip No.1037/11430/03434 with date-time as 12:21:49.
I have checked her enrollment number on internet and received the system response, “Your Aadhaar enrollment has been rejected. As per UIDAI’s records, you were earlier enrolled through another enrollment ID”, even though she enrolled on 10.08.2011 for the first and only time.
I am at a loss as to what to advise her to do, because it appears from the message quoted above, that her biometrics as captured by the system were already present in the system, and her enrollment has been treated as a duplicate (“As per UIDAI’s records, you were earlier enrolled through another enrollment ID”), and hence rejected. Also, the system response is unhelpful as it does not suggest any solution, since she has not been asked to re-enroll as some others have been advised on rejection of their Aadhaar enrollment.
Please immediately advise me whether my surmise of biometric duplication is correct, and if not, what is the cause and what is the remedy. I am aware that the Application Form for enrollment contains a certificate that the applicant has not previously enrolled. Smt.Chikka Thayamma is anxious to avail the subsidy for LPG and has to submit her Aadhaar number by 15 February 2013.

If you have given your mobile number or registered email id, and if you know the Full Name* as you had given during the enrollment, you will get a 3 step OTP method to Your registered Mobile Number / Email which you provided at the time of enrolment and it is mandatory to receive your lost UID / EID.

Dear All… I have enrollment in June & till date no Adhaar..in my experience, the agencies do enrollment are 100% useless and novice…Quality of Equipment are of lower quality ( Comp,printer,Finger prints )…
I can bet …if Adhaar linked subsidy benefits are withdrawn ,,, then nobody will go for Adhaar Card.Still I would say purpose of Adhaar Card was very good idea but it went in vein unless corrected immediately.

I am writing regarding the Aadhaar card number of myself Mr. Rajesh Kumar Agarwal, I enrolled into the scheme at Bhubaneswar, and holds enrolment EID No.1040103730080820120318123349, received an SMS stating that you aadhar card has been rejected due to duplicare enrolment.
In was enroled only once and why it got rejected, don’t know.
Please clarify and reply.

Sir/ Madam,
I have received SMS on 24-01-2014 asking me to contact 18003001947 as the enrollment with EID -118904030166920130325130748 has been rejected due duplicate enrollment. Contacting the number has been of no help always busy.
Kindly solve this problem .

I’m working at a private bank and I’m out of station right now, I had applied for aadhar a month ago and parents received it and took it to ration store for registration purpose there they have told that”your son’s card shows not unique error” means aadhar no is not unique, so please help me in this and do the needful,my enrollment no is 2040/80296/14714.

I had enrolled for aadhar but my adhaar card was not generated due to some technical problem.On contacting aadhar centre, I was told to re-apply.This time my aadhar was generated but I lost my acknowledgement slip before downloading it.
Now, when I try to retrieve my Aadhar online through name & mobile no. , a message is shown which reads -“Multiple records found. Please refine your query and try again”, due to the previous one.
Please look into the matter and kindly guide. In urgent need.
